A well-established and growing manufacturing company in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its accounting team. This is a hybrid role, offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting staff, providing guidance and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Assist in financial audits, working closely with external auditors.
• Analyze financial data and trends to support management in decision-making.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in public accounting is highly preferred.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000
