Senior Accounting Analyst – Real Estate

Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
$110K–$115K base + benefits

What you’ll do:

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned properties, from GL to financial statements

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for real estate assets

  • Prepare detailed audit schedules and serve as the go-to liaison with auditors

  • Maintain and improve internal controls to protect asset integrity

  • Use Yardi daily for property-level and consolidated reporting

  • Collaborate with FP&A, property managers, and leadership to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate reporting

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years commercial real estate accounting experience (industrial & office strongly preferred)

  • Experience with audits—public accounting, external audit coordination, or both

  • Yardi experience highly preferred

  • CPA a plus (but not required)

  • Strong Excel skills + comfort with large ERP systems

  • Proactive problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail and process improvement
