Our client is an expanding hospitality and recreation business. It owns and operates a portfolio of clubs and recreational facilities across the United States.

About the Role:

• You will lead, plan, and oversee the activities of the Accounting function.
• Responsible for managing the completion of the consolidated monthly closing checklist and timely and effective internal reporting to business stakeholders.
• Employ strategic vision in developing the function, supporting ongoing business growth, and in delivering a scalable Accounting function.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies in compliance with GAAP.
• Evaluate, implement process improvements and internal controls to ensure accurate, timely financial statements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• CPA qualification
• At least 10-12 years of relevant accounting leadership experience from hospitality, recreation, tourism or entertainment industry
• Experience in acquisition integration, cash management and system implementation - preferred

Compensation: $140,000 - 200,000
