Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and maintain records related to unclaimed and outstanding checks, due diligence letters, and escheatment filings; coordinate information sharing across departments
  • Log incoming payments and make timely deposits to company bank accounts
  • Manage documentation for interdepartmental invoices , journal entries, AP, and data retention
  • Research and resolve issues related to AP reports
  • Assist in responding to audit requests
  • Support inquiries from internal departments, vendors, and business units
  • Help draft and maintain departmental procedures and process documentation
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives alongside the Finance Supervisor and Finance Manager
  • Collaborate with team members and provide support based on team workload needs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Strong desire to obtain CPA license
  • Ability to understand basic accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication

Preferred:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
  • Coursework or experience in payroll, general accounting, or accounts payable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Exposure to internal controls and audit processes


Compensation: $48,000 - $70,000
