Accounting Manager | Hybrid – San Jose, CA
Salary: $120,000 – $145,000 + Bonus
Schedule: Hybrid (2–3 days in office)

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the San Jose area, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

• Oversee general ledger accounting, AP/AR, and payroll activities.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

• Lead and mentor a small accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

• Partner with FP&A, Operations, and Leadership to support budgeting and forecasting.

• Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

• Experience in a mid-sized or growth-stage company (tech or manufacturing a plus).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, or similar).
