We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Supervisor to join our talented team at Top Notch Metals, an HVAC products manufacturer, serving as Northern California’s premier residential and commercial ‘Hassle Free’ HVAC supplier. You will report directly to the Assistant Production Manager.
As a key stake holder in the manufacturing process, you are responsible for ensuring that manufacturing runs smoothly and efficiently, while also meeting production goals.
You should have a combination of technical and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage costs.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Managing Employees - Overseeing daily work, creating and managing schedules, recruiting and hiring new employees, providing training, and coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Quality Control - Conducting quality checks, monitoring production processes, and identifying potential quality issues.
Workflow - Organizing and monitoring workflow, coordinating variations from production schedules, and expediting orders
Safety and Cleanliness - Enforcing health and safety policies, ensuring the shop area is clean and organized, and developing and recommending improvements to facilities, equipment, or procedures.
Production Standards - Establishing and enforcing production standards, and reviewing work completed to ensure it meets quality standards and is delivered within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least 5 years experience supervising 15 or more employees in a manufacturing environment.
Must have worked at a company with gross sales no less that 25 million annually.
You must excel in the following skills:
