Our client, The University of San Francisco (USF) is looking to fill a temporary Program Assistant. This position is hybrid.

The University of San Francisco's Center for Law, Tech, and Social Good Program is seeking a a detail-oriented candidate to provide administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key resource and liaison for the Center, fostering effective communication and collaboration among faculty, students, and the public.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CLTSG Management team, overseeing calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, expense reports, and data projects.
  • Collaborate with the Director to manage budgets, process invoices, and prepare detailed financial reports.
  • Offer training on Center technologies and develop instructional resources as needed.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including donor outreach, milestone tracking, and related activities.
  • Welcome and assist guests, manage appointments, and contribute to office tasks and special projects.
  • Coordinate the hiring, training, and supervision of student assistants, volunteers, and fellows, while handling onboarding, offboarding, form processing, and recordkeeping.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread complex documents, spreadsheets, and online resources, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of records and file systems.

Qualifications:

  • Post high school education preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative support, ideally including project management, with a strong preference for supporting senior executives or academic administrators.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Office.
  • Strong mathematical, computational, analytical and management skills are preferred.
  • Experience with report preparation and presentation, including those using charts and graphs, and experience tracking data and using spreadsheets preferred.
  • Event planning, financial processing, and data management experience preferred.
  • Must be able to produce technically complex documents including merge documents, heavily-footnoted manuscripts and graphics with minimum of supervision and work direction
  • Willingness to periodically travel and work remotely is a plus.

Pay Rate: $31.00 per hour
