  • What You’ll Do: Handle all the areas of client development including growth and development of client relationships, being actively involved in the preconstruction phase, and meet with owners, architects and other industry-related professionals to network and promote W.A. Randolph’s interests.
  • Actively participating in areas of preconstruction specifically with preparation of budgets, subcontractor/material supplier bid lists, and in preconstruction presentations with Owners providing necessary information.
  • Prepare instructions to bidders and other bid solicitation information as required.
  • Be knowledgeable of material unit costs, systems square foot costs and total building square foot costs and maintain the cost database for use in future preliminary budgets and pricing
  • Identify and qualify new material suppliers and maintain the subcontractor database.
  • Actively participate in construction planning by assisting in the preparation of the preliminary construction schedule, attend design meetings with Owner, architect, engineers and consultants.
  • Perform on-site visits to verify status of on-going projects and view work in place for experience and comparison to the estimate.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10 years of experience in estimating commercial/residential construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • Knowledge of estimating, scheduling and quantity take-off software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail required.

Position Benefits:

  • Pay: $130,000 - $175,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
