Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient processing and customer satisfaction.
Supervise order picking and inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
Follow procedures to maintain compliance and ensure quality.
Deliver products on time, resolve customer issues, and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to enhance warehouse systems and practices.
Manage forklift operations, equipment maintenance, and stock accuracy.
Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
Build a strong team culture and foster collaboration to meet company goals.
Maintain a training matrix to ensure team competency and flexibility.
Coach the team daily to achieve business objectives.
Manage manpower to support delivery and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with staff.
Hold daily briefings under “People, Performance, Continuous Improvement” to align the team.
Implement company absence procedures and manage timekeeping effectively.
Requirements:
2 years of experience in warehouse management is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate a team.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle demanding situations effectively.
Ability to adhere to work procedures and safety regulations.
Flexible and adept at multitasking, with strong critical thinking skills.
Proficient in computer use with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with warehouse management systems, RFIDs, and Oracle Netsuite is highly desirable.
Experience with The Home Depot, True Commerce, and Commerce Hub is a plus.
