As a Procurement Specialist / Buyer at QuickCable, you’ll play a key role in keeping our manufacturing process running efficiently and our customers satisfied. You’ll take ownership of sourcing and purchasing materials that meet production needs—balancing quality, cost, and delivery.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with suppliers, production teams, and engineers to ensure materials arrive on time and meet specifications. Job Function:

  • Utilize MRP and ERP software to analyze and determine material needs and process purchase orders.
  • Analyze and negotiate lowest costs for purchased goods.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure delivery goals are met, any quality issues, and cost concerns.
  • Monitor and adjust safety stock levels for new and existing purchased items.
  • Communicate with production group as required to keep them informed of delivery schedules and material lead-times.
  • Ability to source products with new suppliers as needed.
  • Manage vendor performance related to quality, cost, and delivery. Recommend and implement improvements as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

    Basic requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain or equivalent experience.
  • 3 or more years of procurement experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and product specifications.
