Job Function:

  • Assess clients to determine their fit for outpatient treatment and establish provisional diagnosis and initial treatment plan.
  • Conduct individual, group, couples and/or family therapy in accordance with state regulations and professional licensure law(s).
  • If necessary, provide crisis intervention services to clients to ensure risk levels are properly managed and, when appropriate, triage clients to higher level of care.
  • Maintain scheduling of all active clients to ensure clinical needs are being met.
  • Maintain collateral contact with client’s referring physician/professional, as well as any other pertinent treatment providers, to ensure optimum level of care.
  • Participate in consultation or supervision in accordance with licensure law(s).
  • Maintain the client’s file with respect to assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and session notes.
  • Adhere to state and federal laws with respect to HIPPA and mandatory reporting laws.
  • Follow all ethical guidelines.

Basic Requirements:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Must possess an active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively provide quality patient care.
