Interstate Sealant and Concrete – Foreman

Job Function:
- Manage day-to-day operations of designated projects within set timeframes and budgets.
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise work crews, providing technical direction.
- Perform general labor tasks and fill in as needed.
- Assist ISC supervisors and office staff with documentation for successful project outcomes.
- Perform physical tasks and endure varying working conditions.
- Direct small to large projects using ISC and subcontractors.
- Communicate regularly with key stakeholders and office staff.
- Work with Vice President, Project Manager, and Project Contract Administrator.
- Initiate and maintain communication with project owners and prime contractors.
- Oversee projects in accordance with design plans, specs, and schedules.
- Investigate and address potential problems, implementing corrective measures.
- Represent the company in project meetings and field operations.
- Assist with financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests.
- Inspect work areas and coordinate material and equipment flow.
- Lead employees with sound judgment, integrity, and accountability.
Basic requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory construction experience or equivalent lead experience
- High School/GED education required
- Authorized to work in the US
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years
- Ability to travel out of state
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol and random tests
- Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, and methods
- Hands-on experience in craft and labor coordination
- Familiarity with Company policies, procedures, and standards
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team
- Wear active personal protective equipment
- Maintain a valid driver’s license through physical qualifications
- Attend seminars and continuing education as required
