Job Function:

Setup and Testing:Install, start-up, and test industrial air compressors, air treatment systems, nitrogen generators, and condensate management systems.

Voltage Adjustments: Perform voltage conversions and modifications to meet specific customer requirements.

Diagnostics and Repairs: Conduct mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs on compressed air systems and accessories, providing detailed service reports.

Preventative Maintenance:Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on compressed air systems, with accurate service reporting.

Emergency Repairs: Handle emergency and unscheduled repairs of compressed air systems during regular hours, after-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Manual Interpretation: Read and interpret operation manuals, electrical schematics, and blueprints for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Tool Utilization: Use various hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment.

Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety regulations related to compressed air and electrical systems, including using appropriate PPE.

Travel Requirements: Be prepared for overnight travel by land or air.

What it takes to succeed in this role:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with air compressors or as an air compressor technician.

  • Reliable transportation.

  •  The ability to travel to Canada.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.

  • Refrigeration certification.

  • Forklift experience is advantageous.
