Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist role is critical to provide expertise and Quality assurance to establish conforming products and standards. The key responsibilities of the position are:

  • Support and maintain QuickCable ISO 9001:2015 certification
  • Maintain calibration records and process
  • Validate regulatory requirements
  • Maintain an internal audit schedule and perform internal audits
  • Write and review quality procedures
  • Complete PPAP inspections
  • Perform Operational Inspections and First article inspections as needed
  • Verify documentation in manufacturing areas to assure conforming product
  • Pre-Shipment review as needed
  • Verify Key QCP’s
  • Complete 8D’s and other customer documentation
  • Perform finished product inspection as needed
  • Perform net weight monitoring and/or verification as needed
  • Maintain positive working relationships with supervisors, QA team members, production team members, and corporate personnel
  • Communicate and align in-house testing with corporate R&D personnel including test lot reports, guidance through the test procedure, gathering all information, reporting and analyzing

Key Requirements:

  • Associates degree or combination of experience and education required
  • 5 years’ experience in the quality field in a manufacturing environment required
  • Must be able to read measuring tools (micrometers, etc.)
  • Must be able to interpret engineering prints
  • Bilingual is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Quantitative and qualitative research skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office Products
