Western Container – 1st & 2nd Shift Production Worker

Western Container is looking for 1st & 2nd Shift Production Workers to join their Beloit location and 2nd Shift in their Janesville location!

Responsibilities:

• Openings for both 1st and 2nd shift
• Safely set up, operate, and maintain various saw machines according to job specifications and lean strategies
• Record production data, including logging into jobs and closing open work orders
• Read and understand work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, materials, and dimensions
• Safely and efficiently prepare materials for shipping, ensuring proper identification, tagging, and wrapping
• Collaborate with management and other departments to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and ensure work products meet client specifications
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to follow instructions and solve problems that involve a few concrete variables in standardized situation
• Knowledge of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel), preferred
• Valid Driver's License, preferred
