Hunter Gibbons Staffing is seeking a Director of IT for one of our clients to lead their development and IT organization.They will be moving from a shared services model to an in house model.They are looking for someone who can and is willing to still do hands on development for around 20% - 30% of the time which will decrease over time.This role will be responsible for managing 4 direct reports (3 Developers and 1 QA) but they also have to be well rounded enough to help with infrastructure, networking, etc. because they will be separating all aspects. They do not need to be an expert in all aspects but need to be knowledgeable enough to partner with vendors when appropriate, consolidate if needed, provide technical direction/recommendations, etc.Will be reporting directly to the CEO and needs to be comfortable interacting with executives, provide updates and status reports, strategy, roadmaps, etc.
Someone who has experience in small organization who has had to wear many hats due to growth would be ideal.
