Account Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact to build long-term relationships with assigned customers and drive organic expansion revenue
  • Develop new business from the assigned portfolio and actively seek new sales opportunities
  • Meet individual and team sales/expansion goals as assigned for the position through upsells, migrations, cross-sell, and retention
  • Facilitate proactive quarterly or bi-annual engagements with assigned customers, including business reviews
  • Maximize customer adoption of the client products and services
  • Own and assist with high priority customer escalations as needed
  • Handle contract questions and cancellation requests for assigned customers
  • Direct reactive inquiries as appropriate
  • Become the trusted advisor with accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors to ensure client is successful
  • Forecast, track and communicate key account metrics (retention and expansion numbers)
  • Proactively combat churn using leading indicators (customer health metrics, NPS, direct feedback, etc) in order to increase customer retention and ensure success
  • Perform web-based product demonstrations with qualified prospects
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of our company‚Äôs products, services, and sales procedures
  • Identify client needs and provide insight on best practices and application of the client solutions
  • Collaborate and lead teams and/or partners to see a sale through to completion
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on products, industry changes and competitive landscape

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year in a success, account management, or consultative sales role with demonstrated success of meeting goals and targets
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change quickly
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Being able to be an independent thinker and problem solver
  • Great communication skills
  • Tech savvy and willing to become proficient in Neon One products
  • Excel at articulating the value of technology both online and over the phone
  • Nonprofit experience preferred
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of an organization
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, and persuasive negotiation and presentation skills
  • Digital marketing understanding
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
