Sales Development Representative

Responsibilities:

  • Research target companies and key decision-makers to identify challenges and opportunities for the client.
  • Develop marketing qualified leads into sales qualified leads through personalization and discovery.
  • Partner with sales to define target accounts, create prospecting plans to convert into the sales pipeline.
  • Write compelling emails that get prospective buyers to respond.
  • Utilize intelligent, direct questions to speak knowledgeably with decision-makers and C-level executives.
  • Conduct preliminary needs analyses to determine areas where the client can provide the most value to prospects.
  • Secure qualified meetings with decision-makers.
  • Accept feedback and coaching to continue to improve and develop skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Superior outbound calling, prospecting, and lead generation skills preferred
  • Strong ability to explain just about anything to anyone
  • Excellent listening, phone, written, and verbal skills
  • Sincere interest in people and a high degree of comfort communicating with senior-level executives via email and phone
  • Demonstrated resiliency, confidence, and optimism
  • Strong analytical and active listening skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Highest level of integrity
  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM system is advantageous
  • A can-do attitude and a competitive spirit
