Working with internal partners in Marketing develop demand generation strategy and execution plans
Develop detailed sales plans to meet or exceed target revenue goals quarterly and annually; modify as needed to meet changing business requirements or climate changes
Quickly attract and recruit strong new talent with appropriate skills and experience and who are a good fit for the client.
Coach Regional Sales Managers (RSM’s) on effective sales strategy, tactics, and sales cycle
Attend client calls as needed as a leadership participant and to support closing
Motivate the team to outperform sales goals
Review and verify team pipeline information in CRM; ensures accurate forecasting of sales
Develop, implement, and maintain effective sales policies and practices, in conjunction with global peers and leadership
Develop in-depth knowledge of the global payroll marketplace, players, and trends and recommend sales strategies based on market and competitor analysis
Provide accurate and detailed reporting of sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership
Create effective and sales commissions and incentive programs to motivate and retain successful sales teams
Implement and refine an effective sales training program to ensure quick ramp-up of new RSMs and continued development of existing team
Conduct regular sales meetings, rallies, training sessions, and one-to-ones to maintain visibility and collaboration within sales teams
Embody the client values including a strong sense of ethics
Be an ambassador and put forward a positive image of the company to both clients and team members
Maintain strong relationship and regular communication and collaboration with other departments, particularly: Marketing to develop and execute demand generation programs, Channels to leverage partner relationships, Sales Operations for reporting and SalesForce utilization, and Implementation to coordinate communication and timing of rollouts
Key Skills Required:
7-10 years combined B2B sales and management experience in comparable industries at the Enterprise level
Bachelor degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
Proven experience building a successful sales team from the ground up and scaling that team for growth
Ability to plan for growth and scale
Demonstrable track record in managing at a strategic and an operational level
Experience in a multi-national arena – selling to and working with many different cultures
Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners
Ability to work collaboratively with channels, alliances, colleagues, and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment
Strong presentation skills and professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to motivate teams to create quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
Ability to adapt to quickly changing business needs or competitor threats and provide creative solutions
Proven track record of success
Requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule and extended hours
Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
