You’ll be joining the Drug Product Development team, where your expertise in formulation science will support the development and optimisation of robust, stable formulations for liquid and lyophilised biologic products. Your contributions will ensure compatibility with manufacturing processes and help deliver safe, effective biosimilar medicines to patients worldwide.

Overview of Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated formulation scientist to support drug product development activities with a focus on biologics (including biosimilars). This role is critical to the design and optimisation of robust formulations that align with product quality, process compatibility, and long-term stability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of liquid and lyophilised formulations through both early- and late-stage development.
• Lead formulation screening, stability testing, and biophysical characterisation aligned with Quality by Design (QbD) principles and internal guidelines.
• Ensure formulation compatibility with drug product manufacturing processes and container closure systems by collaborating with process development and materials science teams.

 

Qualifications:

• MSc or PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in biopharmaceutical development, with expertise in protein stability, biophysical methods, and formulation development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, scientific curiosity, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
