We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with a focus on data to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving data-driven decision-making and ensuring data integrity across our organization. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who thrives on solving complex problems and has a passion for data analysis, visualization, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

   • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
   • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

2. Business Requirements Gathering:

   • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, workflows, and data needs.
   • Document and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development teams.

3. Data Governance and Quality:

   • Work closely with data stewards and governance teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with policies.
   • Monitor and resolve data quality issues through root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.

4. Process Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and enhance data collection and utilization methods.
   • Implement best practices for data management and business intelligence solutions.

5. Collaboration with IT and Data Teams:

   • Act as a liaison between business units and IT/data teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
   • Assist in the development and testing of data integration, ETL pipelines, and other technical systems.

6. Training and Documentation:

   • Develop and deliver training materials for end-users to effectively use data tools and insights.
   • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data workflows, systems, and analysis.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience:

   • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
   • 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.

2. Technical Skills:

   • Proficiency in SQL and querying databases.
   • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
   • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools is a plus (e.g., Collibra, Alation).

3. Soft Skills:

   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical and non-technical teams.
   • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
   • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
