DESCRIPTION
As a Data Business Process SME, you will be a team contributor with a crucial role in optimizing business processes and driving data-driven decision-making for our customers. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing efficiency, risk management, and overall performance of missions across the U.S. Army and Joint Military Service Branches.
This position will support Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA), Department of the Army's Management Office-Strategic Operations (DAMO-SO) U. S. Army New Data Efforts. The role will be responsible for business process definition, documentation, assisting with process engineering, maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders, customer requirements management, and coordination of Combatant Command (COCOM) specific development efforts.
PROCESS CONSULTATION AND SOLUTIONS:
Provide solution and change management consultation to the customer, focusing on risk management processes.
Utilize established control and planning methodologies to ensure project alignment with specific organizational goals and process requirements.
BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING:
Deeply understand the client’s business operations.
Identify and document changes or adjustments required to enable efficient business operations such as new systems and features.
COLLABORATION:
Work closely with the client, associated stakeholders, onsite and offsite teams to prepare business groups and military units with implementing system functionalities and features.
Facilitate Solutions Design Walkthroughs, conduct workshops to guide process development and implementation, and obtain customer approval of business use case.
BUSINESS ANALYSIS:
Perform Business Analysis tasks related to Security and Privacy rules and regulations.
Deliver technical and business transformation capabilities aligned with an associated strategic roadmap.
PRIORITIZATION AND EFFICIENCY:
Partner with internal clients (departmental heads and other program managers) to understand their operational needs and technical requirements.
Establish priorities and strategies to meet business objectives while maintaining or improving efficiency.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
Observe customer business workflows and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze established business cases and develop recommendations for process enhancements.
STANDARDIZATION AND TOOLS:
Work collaboratively with clients in their adoption of standardized methodologies for solving business process problems and managing the improvement of processes, products, and services.
This role entails 60% remote performance and 40% onsite (QBE Corporate or Customer’s site).
This role will require ~20% travel both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental Unites States (OCONUS).
REQUIREMENTS:
CERTIFICATIONS (PREFERRED): ITIL, PMP, CIA, CHP, CISA, APICS, ICAR, ASC, CSM, CSCS.
