Data Analyst

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and utility of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Collection and Analysis:

    • Gather and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Perform exploratory data analysis to answer complex business questions.
  2. Data Visualization and Reporting:

    • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
    • Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to effectively communicate insights.
  3. Data Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data by identifying and addressing quality issues.
    • Work with data governance and IT teams to implement data validation processes.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Partner with business units to understand their data needs and objectives.
    • Translate business requirements into data queries and actionable reports.
  5. Database and Tool Management:

    • Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract data from relational databases.
    • Assist in maintaining and improving data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes.
  6. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to enhance data workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve data accessibility.
    • Implement best practices for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 2-4 years of experience in a data analysis or similar role.
  2. Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
    • Familiarity with statistical tools (e.g., Python, R) and data modeling is a plus.
  3. Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey insights effectively.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
    • Certifications in data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau Certified, Microsoft Power BI).
