We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and utility of our data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Gather and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to answer complex business questions.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
- Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to effectively communicate insights.
Data Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data by identifying and addressing quality issues.
- Work with data governance and IT teams to implement data validation processes.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with business units to understand their data needs and objectives.
- Translate business requirements into data queries and actionable reports.
Database and Tool Management:
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract data from relational databases.
- Assist in maintaining and improving data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance data workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve data accessibility.
- Implement best practices for data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a data analysis or similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Familiarity with statistical tools (e.g., Python, R) and data modeling is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey insights effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
- Certifications in data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau Certified, Microsoft Power BI).
