What You’ll Do:

As a Procurement and Inventory Manager with our client you should possess the skills and have experience managing a procurement department in a manufacturing environment. This includes being able to demonstrate a balance of technical and logistics skillset to effectively drive vendor selection, parts forecasting, ordering and delivery schedules. It also includes understanding and managing inventory levels for production and parts departments and helping to continuously improve processes and systems to increase efficiency in these areas.

In this role, you will have the following duties:

  1. Work with our executive staff to help the company achieve its strategic plans. This includes working with Engineering, Finance, Sales and Production.
  2. Support the Engineering department in researching, selecting and managing key vendors.
  3. Hold vendors accountable for quality, reliability, delivery and cost through an annual review process.
  4. Manage and execute quarterly plans for all purchasing of inventory to ensure consistent supply of parts within managed inventory levels.
  5. Use our ERP system to drive forecasts, purchase orders and delivery schedule for all inventory purchasing for production, parts department and R&D.
  6. Reconcile all PO’s to invoices for A/P so bills are paid on time and invoices are accurate.
  7. Manage inventory counts to get minimal variance each month or quarter with a goal to have less than 1% variance each month.

What You’ll Get:

In addition to a fulfilling and challenging work environment, Our Client offers a competitive benefits package. The hours of the position are M-F, 40 hrs. /week, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with up to 10% travel.
