Manager needs someone to do:

  • 50% marketing writing, editing and proofreading

  • 25% item list management, follow up on of team tasks

  • 25% communication/status updates on current and on-going projects

Role Description:

The Technology Product Marketing team is looking for a product marketing contractor / content specialist who is familiar with cloud technologies and is dynamic, creative, and has great interpersonal skills and a problem-solver attitude. You will assist technical team members in creating, editing, and organizing technical information, such as root cause analysis information related to technical incidents, and transform it into compelling and useful content for internal and external audiences. In this role, you will also leverage your organizational and communications skills to manage requests, prioritize a content backlog and provide updates to internal customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit technical content

  • Assist technical team members in developing compelling materials to market our innovation, infrastructure, architecture, roadmap, applications, processes, security, and reliability – across all Salesforce products, and in all geographies

  • Manage requests from internal customers for technical content

  • Manage and prioritize a content backlog

  • Provide meaningful status updates to internal customers and stakeholders

  • Provide reports

Requirements:

  • Entry level experience in technical product marketing or product management for a high tech company (cloud experience preferred)

  • Exceptional communication and writing skills

  • Entry level experience in project management / project coordination

  • Familiar with creating product marketing assets (technical documents, presentations, web content, email notifications, media, etc…)

  • Ability to work with cross-functional multidisciplinary teams

  • Experience working in data-driven organization

  • Self-motivated individual capable of working in a face-paced, startup environment

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Salesforce solutions

  • Familiarity with compute infrastructure (data centers, networking, security, etc…)
