Duration:6 months (W2 Contract)
Perform close, forecast and budget for Risk Management.
Close functions include preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, quarterly certification of the 10Q & 10K for Risk Management items
Assist in the quarterly preparation to support the accrual balances for Workers Compensation & General Liability Claims Accruals
Assists with preparation of Risk Management budgets and allocations of cost of risk to Divisions
Coordination of Risk Management SOX compliance
Prepares the true ups for the Workers Compensation and General Liability losses based on the actuary report
Supports Claims team with statistical analysis as requested
Manage monopolistic state workers compensation billing and accounting
Validate and process invoices for claim administrator, insurance premiums and consultants
Oracle, strong excel skills
Detailed oriented, organized and manages to deadlines
2- 4 years of related work experience.
BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
