The Research Programs Team implements global operational systems, connects teams and knowledge, and problem solves operational hurdles to enable Researchers to do their most impactful work. Our team is composed of experts in problem solving and multitasking. You'll work closely with Research Program Managers and UX Researchers to execute and deliver on clearly defined projects, ensuring the highest quality work is being conducted.
In this role, you will manage operational projects related to talent and development programs, including onboarding and learning and development. We are looking for a project manager who is flexible and can pivot and adapt to the needs of our team as they arise, taking on different projects accordingly.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, resourceful, highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative. We are looking for someone who is able to facilitate our teams' best work by driving and delivering projects to completion - managing timelines, anticipating project issues and resolving them, connecting resources to needs, and removing barriers to doing great work. We need an expert in problem solving and multitasking. You must be comfortable in an extremely fast-paced environment where you’ll need to exercise good judgment and find solutions that solve challenges.
This role requires project or program management experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organization skills, and the ability to manage complex logistics. This is a full-time contract position.
-General project management
-Drive and support projects and initiatives for the Research Programs Team;
-Move initiatives forward, find resources, raise concerns to appropriate owners early and resolve open issues that prevent progress; hold the line when the schedule or progress is in jeopardy while maintaining respectful relationships;
-Predict roadblocks and obstacles and prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions;
-Contribute to processes and tools, updating databases and initiating improvements where needed;
-Organize and track post-program metrics;
-Update and maintain internal and external learning and development documentation;
-Provide flexible approaches that meet the team’s needs, including the ability to move fast and make progress or navigate blocks quickly
-Project manage onboarding and new hire initiatives
-Project manage initiatives and components of UX Research onboarding;
-Drive projects involving process design efforts to positively impact and scale the new researcher experience
-Project manage learning and development initiatives
-Project manage initiatives and components of the UX Research learning and development;
-Drive projects involving process design efforts to positively impact researcher learning;
-Create and manage workback plans and project lifecycles to ensure logistical progress on learning and development workstreams;
-Project manage working groups and provide proactive communication on progress against goals
-3+ years of relevant or related Program or Project Management experience;
-Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with a proven ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy;
-Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
-Track record of operating independently, being flexible, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
-General knowledge of research and/or UX design;
-Onboarding, Learning and Development, Research Operations, or People Operations support experience, preferably at a fast-growing company
Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
1. 3+ years of general Program or Project Management skills – including planning, and execution of initiatives independently.
