Program Manager I
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 6 months (W2 contract with possible extension)

Responsible for overseeing programs - sets of large, time-consuming projects which require detailed analysis and care - within the company.
Prioritizing projects and delegating responsibilities to members of the project team.
Interview and hire the best candidates for each project.
Work with several clients and maintain constant communication.
Meet with clients regularly and provide project reports and updates to ensure that everything is running smoothly.
Meet regularly with the project team to discuss solutions and may also provide assignments for each team member to keep everyone focused on the overall project.
Highly knowledgeable of information technology (IT) and business practices for success, and creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
Oversee direction, training, mentoring, and management of staff.
Track and report on team progress and determine key milestones.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and to enhance the organization's competitive position.
Coordinate with other departments or members in the organization to achieve specific goals.
Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers.
