Job Title: Technical Program/Project Manager IV

Duration: 11 months (w2 Contract)

The objective of this role is to lead cross-functional Engineering initiatives to implement Metric platform that would enable product and functional organizations across company to implement metrics standards.
Manage very complex cross-functional software engineering programs in a matrix organization spanning across multiple products including Facebook, Instagram, Ads, Videos, WhatsApp, Workplace, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality; and functional orgs including GMS, Partnership, Legal, Comms, Finance, Marketing, etc.
Facilitates difficult conversations against competing priorities at Director+ level.
Defines overall Vision, Strategy and Roadmap for the metric platform and tools in collaboration with the Engineering team.
Facilitate defining half-yearly goals by engaging broad set of stakeholders including Federated XFN Partners, Product TPMs, Product Managers, Central Team and ExMets Program Leadership.
Creates product backlog with user stories (Requirements) to develop features; and work with stakeholders to prioritize features (Scoping).
Develop a schedule to implement features in alignment with half-yearly goals.
Proactively lead Architecture and Design sessions and ensure stakeholders are involved every step of the way.
Leads product and technical discussions to identify and remove any roadblocks.
Publish weekly HPM (post) to create visibility on team’s progress against half-yearly goals.
Lead dogfooding session with stakeholders to solicit feedback on features under development.
Post launch, conduct roadshows across the organizations to educate users on platform/product capabilities and new features
Conduct ongoing training if needed on product capabilities in collaboration with Engineers.
Actively manage risks, issues, action items, follow-ups to ensure timely closure.
Work with stakeholders to promote Metrics platform adoption.
Experience with data governance, data quality, data mapping, monitoring, Six Sigma
Experience working with large-scale distributed data systems
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark or other big data systems
Experience with data tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy, R, or similar
At least 8 years of software engineering, systems engineering, program/product management, or similar experience
5+ years of hands-on experience in Data & Analytics projects with ability to dive deeper at code level, if necessary
Experience in communication and working with technical management teams; possess executive presence.
Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience
B.S. in a Computer Science or equivalent experience
