Job Description

Facebook is looking for a motivated and thoughtful Onboarding Production Project Manager to sit within Recruiting’s centralized Change & Learning team. This individual will build, implement, and construct a maintenance plan for a consistent onboarding and learning experience for new hires across multiple Recruiting teams. This role is a 6 month contract and will report to a Program Manager on the Change & Learning team.

We are looking for an experienced project manager who will communicate our team’s priorities, implement solutions, and work in ways that inspire both our growing global workforce and the operations teams that support it. You will work closely with a number of stakeholders across multiple regions, including functional operations partners, content builders, schedulers, facilitators, and executive-level program sponsors. Client management expertise and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must for this individual. Additionally, it is essential that you have the ability to manage complex project plans, influence and drive strategy, enjoy a collaborative working environment, and can execute against tight deadlines.


  • For each assigned team (of which each PM might have multiple):

  • Team-specific, cohesive New Hire journey scope and sequence (comprehensive of all onboarding activities)

  • Team-specific onboarding eLearn / onboarding materials

  • Team-specific New Hire Mentorship (onboarding guide) implementation plan

  • Implementation plan

  • Content maintenance plan

  • Build and hand off ongoing Measurement strategy (both qualitative (surveys) and quantitative (productivity dashboard)


  • At the end of 6 month contract, will have built, implemented, and developed a maintenance plan for In Team Onboarding programming across multiple recruiting teams globally

  • Partner closely with rLearn’s In Team Onboarding Program Manager to ensure delivered programming is consistent across all recruiting functions and aligns with centralized format and strategy

  • At the end of 6 month contract, will have mapped out a customized ongoing program plan and user manual for each recruiting team that receives In Team Onboarding programming (inclusive of curriculum overview, roles and responsibilities, communication strategy, measurement strategy, ongoing program and content maintenance, data pull timelines, and ensuring program is set for evolvement through future org changes and global expansion)

  • Partner and act as central PM and POC to many cross-functional partners and stakeholders (functional operations teams, content builders, schedulers, facilitators, executive sponsors, etc) across multiple regions to drive In Team Onboarding programs from build phase to implementation phase; set up ongoing maintenance plan

  • As a part of program builds, deliver on tailored New Hire learner journeys for each team, inclusive of: customized eLearns, New Hire checklists, the structured mentorship of tenured teammates (Onboarding Guides) and facilitator-led sessions

  • At the end of 6 month contract, ensure team-specific learning paths are live and easily accessible on centralized In Team Onboarding Google Site

  • Design and/or maintain and prepare educational aids and materials

  • Deliver additional training courses and support program managers as needed

  • Build train-the-trainer materials for internal subject matter experts

  • On advisement of Onboarding Program Manager, ensure all TalentCamp specific initiatives and program iterations align with existing onboarding strategy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Project management experience (3+ years)

  • Self-starter with experience taking initiative and working well with large teams

  • Agile and exhibits a sense of urgency

  • Exceptional communication skills with experience engaging and navigating difficult conversations with team members and partners

  • Advanced organizational skills and experience in handling multiple assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Instructional Design, Course Design, or Adult Learning background

  • Learning & Development background

  • Training Delivery experience

  • Experience implementing learning programs with external vendors

  • Learning Management System experience

  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events or event planning
