Job Title: Marketing Manager

Duration: 5 Months (W2 Possible Conversion)

Location: San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Own creative briefing, review, feedback delivery, and execution of Loyalty / Payments assets across all channels: email, site, digital, in-store marketing, direct mail, and statement inserts

  • Partner closely with Loyalty + Payments, Omni-Marketing and Seasonal Planning teams to translate internal strategy briefs into creative-facing; owning “how it comes to life”

  • Develops inspiring loyalty content that combines a customer-first mindset with focus on business priorities, executing flawlessly to minimize friction at all customer touchpoints and drive response

  • Ensure that creative strategy fully supports all customer segments across loyalty tiers, lifecycle, division preference, etc.

  • Take active lead in relationship with Credit Card legal team; responsible for managing best practices across approval process

  • Own in-season online loyalty promotions content calendar and help manage relevant promotion change process with key business partners

  • Assist in driving content testing initiatives to drive loyalty effectiveness

  • Liaise with Customer Strategy Team (CST) Product Management on centrally driven testing roadmap and / or new functionality as it pertains to Loyalty and Payments

  • Manage ongoing competitive analysis, leveraging data to present insights on Loyalty industry trends and best practices

Skills:

  • Loyalty and/or credit card experience preferred

  • Experience briefing strategies across a wide variety of retail and marketing channels

  • High attention to detail and process – can manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Data-driven thinker with a customer-focused mindset

  • Team player with strong people skills; ability to foster dynamic relationships with peers across many cross-functional groups including but not limited to: Creative & Copy, Omni-Seasonal Planning, Operations, Content and Segmentation Strategy, Central Marketing, Legal and Product Management . 
  • Highly motivated, curious individual with a passion for customers and retail industry

  • Self-starter with an eagerness to test and learn

  • Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; comfortable with ambiguity

  • Advanced MS Office, experience with creative project management tools

Background:

  • 3-5 years of experience in online consumer marketing; content marketing experience required

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5-7 years experience, Undergraduate, retail background
