Duties:

The Office Technology Deployment team (OTD) is a global team responsible for deploying office technology into our new construction office builds around the globe. The office technology that we deploy includes: circuits and network, audio visual and video conferencing systems, end-user IT, digital way-finding, production events spaces, specialty demo spaces and more. We partner with teams across Enterprise Engineering to ensure we deliver technology solutions that enable employees to collaborate and work effectively. OTD is currently evolving and introducing business maturity that impacts the broader Facebook organization.

We are looking for a Project Manager to work with the New Business and Advance Planning arms within the Office Technology Deployments team. Specifically, this project manager will be working with cross functional partners to keep our Enterprise Engineering standards updated which requires strong collaboration skills, a keen attention to detail, and superb follow through capabilities. The PM will be responsible for creating, tracking, and closing out all open tasks related to changes and work with the operations team to ensure proper visibility across all teams. In addition to managing standards, the PM will also work with the Network Compliance team. The PM will ensure compliance to established standards by partnering with vendors to execute network assessments across the globe. They will actively engage with cross functional partners to develop processes and ensure completion of assessments and will drive remediation efforts for any deficiencies identified. The ideal candidate for this role will be a professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility with all levels of the organization. This person will need exceptional communication and planning skills. They will also be a strong team player, highly motivated, and take initiative in all situations. This role requires an individual who thrives in ambiguous situations and who can lead without authority.

Responsibilities:



  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure accuracy within the EE operations technology standards

  • Responsible for driving end-to-end completion of all changes within standards, ensuring proper global alignment

  • Maintain a comprehensive change log for all changes to standard

  • Maintain the standards internal site in collaboration with the team's communication specialist

  • Partner with Workplace Design to ensure proper visibility into tool development

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to identify scope, constraints, dependencies, and risks associated with any requested changes

  • Establish and maintain contracts with third-party vendors

  • Primary point of contact for vendor project manager to ensure pre-work is done prior to site visits

  • Responsible for driving compliance and remediation action items after network assessment

  • Responsible for revisions, change management process, and communication around network standards

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with InDesign

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in program management

  • 2+ experience with change management

  • Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to achieve goals

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Strong understanding of Google Docs, MS Office Suite
