Location: Redmond, WA


  • Write, edit, and curate research papers and other materials created by the research team, revising and copyediting papers as necessary for their intended use and audience

  • Select, acquire, and catalog research materials and information; assist researchers in locating and utilizing materials relevant to their research

  • Develop annotated bibliographies of known seminal works, researching and documenting relationships between published papers and their authors and tracing sources and influences of published works

  • Maintain the document development and submission pipeline, working with the program management team to create schedules and deadlines

  • Create and maintain document templates and organization schemes


  • Proven working experience in technical writing and research documentation

  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them to a wide audience• Proficiency in LaTeX

  • Working knowledge of library science, research synthesis, and meta-analysis

  • Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail

  • Experience editing documents written by non-native English speakers for an English-speaking audience


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, library sciences, or related field strongly preferred

  • Graduate degree a strong plus• 2 years minimum experience with a relevant degree, or 5+ years if no relevant degree
