Facebook is seeking a Technical Project Manager – HR Technology, to support the team with project management and operational implementation and support. This role will partner closely with the HR Technology Solution Portfolio Management team to provide project management support and help prioritization and execution on the backlog of Total Rewards technology project backlogs. We are seeking a self-starter and someone who can be a natural at building influence in cross-functional partnerships and drive towards the successful delivery of project objectives.


• Provide project management support for the overall HR Technology Solution Portfolio Management technology portfolio

• Maintain and support prioritization for a backlog/roadmap of Total Rewards technology project enhancements and initiatives

• Support and drive detailed process execution, tracking, and reporting of different data elements associated with the HR Technology Total Rewards technology portfolio, such as, the status updates process, project intake process, risk/issues assessments and escalations, etc.

• Refine and update the overall portfolio management capabilities for the HR Technology Solution Portfolio Management team to ensure consistency and clarity for all stakeholders on goals, approaches, timelines, milestones, and other relevant details

• Create detailed artifacts and materials to support portfolio management and planning including data capture spreadsheets, instruction guides, and other materials

• Design content and support facilitation of working sessions for project and user acceptance testing review and activities with stakeholders

• Support ongoing communication with stakeholders on process, logistics, and portfolio reviews

• Support and drive execution of planning meetings and all related activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

• 3+ years of experience in human resources and/or planning support

• Experience with project management and data analysis/reporting

• Familiarity with current People@ services and projects

• Extensive experience with spreadsheets, reporting, and insight generation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with common portfolio management tools and techniques as well as data visualization tools

• Experience building roadmaps for projects and programs

• Experience in the following programs: SharePoint, Asana, G-Suite, or common PM tools

• Experience operating both tactically to complete tasks as well as strategically to evolve planning capabilities


• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

• PMI or PMP certification preferred
