Job Title: Full Stack Programmer II
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Duration: 2+ months W2 contract
This is a project to create an interactive network graph showing the relationship between clusters of topics source from academic literature.
The end user will be able to choose start node, end nodes, and specify edge length to be visualized in the graph.
Edges need to be weighted and colored based on relationship strength between nodes.
Hovering or clicking on nodes/edges will show extra information such as citation information. Visualization must be launched in a browser or as a standalone program.
How the programmer decides to do this is up to them.
The program will need to be able to read a CSV and create the node and path data structure as well as calculate average weights of edges if duplicate nodes exist.
Responsible for supporting business needs by developing solutions. Lead solution implementation through the entire life cycle by giving valuable inputs with regard to design and technical aspects.
Skills: Required Skill Sets:
Data table manipulation, visualization, and light analytics
Python or R
Experience with CSS and HTML
Education: Bachelor's degree

Schedule Notes: This position can be part time or full time. It is also remote. Therefore the person can be hired from anywhere within the United States. Ideally this project will be completed before the end of 2019.
