HBSS System Administrator

Input Staffing is search for an HBSS System Administrator for a direct hire opportunity in the Suffolk, VA area.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • This individual will be tasked with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Navy Assured Compliance Assessment System (ACAS) collection system server and systems configurations to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot HBSS product server issues and outages.
  • Administer policy catalog management.
  • Coordinate ASI details and planning, as needed.
  • Maintain system patches.
  • Maintain O/S, SQL, and HBSS STIG compliance.
  • Develop, test, monitor and work with HBSS Support Admins on internal TTPs/SOPs
  • Resolve ePO server (O/S, ePO, or SQL) issues.
  • Maintain the ePO server (automated tasks, task scheduler, database maintenance tasks, etc.).

Knowledge Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years IT experience.
  • 3+ years administrating servers.
  • 1+ years administrating ePO or Certified McAfee Security Specialist (CMSS), McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator; or McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with the McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with McAfee Data Loss Prevention Endpoint products.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems and networking.
  • Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must be certified DOD 8570.1-M IAT Level 2.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in applying security policies and controls (802.1x, ACS, STIGs, encryption devices).
  • Experience with device configurations, security policies, and IP routing in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Firewalls.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS).
  • Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) signature development experience.
  • Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a mentorship position.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Experience with DoD cyber operations (USCYBERCOM, Navy Fleet Cyber, etc.).
  • Experience in designing data communications networks, federating networks, implementing VLAN separation, and working in virtualized environment (e.g., VMWare, vSphere, Virtual Switch).
