FULL-TIME, PERMANENT, DIRECT HIRE POSITION

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams by prioritizing production, maintenance and construction project activities
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
• Supervise Start-up and Shut-down of the Chlorine Dock and Beach Manufacturing (including the operation and maintenance of all packaging equipment: gas detectors, gauges, probes, calcium air dryers, etc.)
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Inspection of the chemical quality control reports to ensure that chemical product tests are properly recorded and that the chemical products meet the required sales specifications.
• Ensure that customer ordered product, including tank installations, is delivered in a timely and proper fashion
• Knowledge of environmental regulatory standards and company policy regarding a release of a chemical to the environment and the understanding of waste management requirements related to the storage and disposal of required materials.
• Must be HAZWOPPER trained ( will train): respond to all hazardous material incidents on or off site and properly documenting all responses (includes follow-up notifications, if required)
• Comply with all government operating permits and reporting requirements
• Ensure that all emergency response equipment/materials is in a state of readiness
• Implement and adhere to the Responsible Distribution ProgramQualifications:

• 3+ years of manufacturing management experience
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
