An Exciting Opportunity:
Our Client is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative for the New England area with a track record of increasing sales and exceeding plan in his/her territory consistently to join our team. Our Sales Reps are expected to sell compendial chemicals, laboratory products, and custom process solutions in their territory to Pharma, Biotech, Cosmetics/Personal Care, Med Device, and other FDA-monitored industries. Initiatives you will champion:
- Territory Management: Travel is an essential function of the role by visiting current and potential customers; develop strategies and implement plans to grow profitable sales
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with multiple internal and external customers
- Achieve year over year annual sales growth and gross margin targets
- Operate within expense budget guidelines and policies
- Develop new sales business in territory for new and existing customers
- Microsoft Office package/excellent PC skills
- Independent problem-solving/analytical skills
- Record of sales achievements
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with cGMP, ISO, and change control processes would be a plus
- Ability to apply account development strategies from R&D to Process
- Development to Production to QC
- Perform other duties as required
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, biology, or the life sciences required
- Minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience
- Experience in chemical sales industry a plus
- A sales background in life science, chemistry, biology, or other scientific products is a plus
- Ability to travel and lift/carry between 40 & 60 lbs.
