About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a team in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees daily operations, ensures production targets are met, and supports a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a solid background in fabrication, machining, welding, or assembly environments.

This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and manages a team that includes leads and front-line production staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day production activities to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing output

  • Assign and monitor daily work, set priorities, and adjust schedules to meet production goals

  • Coach and mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, and manage disciplinary actions as needed

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment

  • Identify workflow issues and implement process improvements to drive productivity and reduce costs

  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate requisitions for materials, tools, or equipment

  • Collaborate with other departments to align on production goals and resolve any operational issues

  • Maintain accurate reporting of production metrics and communicate updates to leadership

  • Support ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and participate in audits or corrective actions

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing setting

  • Familiarity with shop floor equipment, fabrication tools, or production machinery

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles

  • Hands-on experience with employee coaching, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes

  • Working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
