Mid-Market Account Executive (General Contractor)

We are hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to drive new business within the commercial construction market. This role is ideal for professionals who have worked as Project Managers or construction professionals at General Contractors and want to transition into a high earning software sales career.

In this position, you will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach through product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing new business. The platform helps construction companies better manage project costs, change orders, and financial workflows, giving you the opportunity to solve real operational problems for your customers.

This role is best suited for someone with a hunter mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with decision makers at construction companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within mid sized General Contractor accounts
  • Prospect and engage construction professionals through phone, email, and other outreach channels
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and close
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to construction leaders and project teams
  • Understand customer challenges related to project costs and change orders and present solutions
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including project managers, executives, and operations leaders
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and account activity

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in commercial construction as a Project Manager or similar role with a General Contractor
  • Experience managing project budgets, cost tracking, and change orders
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an organized sales pipeline
  • Self motivated with a results driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of B2B software or technology sales experience
  • Experience selling to construction companies or related industries
  • Familiarity with consultative or solution based sales approaches
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
