Seeking a talented executive to contribute expertise to our Marketing and eCommerce operation.

The ideal candidate has developed a career focused on activating digital strategies to generate demand, leads and transactions for companies who have a hybrid requirement of funnel filling for Sales team opportunity alongside eCommerce conversions.

This individual will be responsible for the health and results driven from the company’s website, email marketing program, channel partnership co-op and be the primary project manager for the department. Team oversight responsibilities will include those overseeing performance-driven results for SEO and the website including the company’s 3rd-party development agency.   • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in the Digital Marketing and/or eCommerce concentration.
  • 5 years of experience managing teams.
  • Expertise with eCommerce tools such as Magento Enterprise (and accompanying extensions),
  • Google Analytics (Universal required; GA-4 preferred), Google Tag Manager, LogRocket, New
  • Relic, Google Search Console and the Webscale or similar host control panel.
  • Expertise in Agile project management and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Expertise with ESP platforms required including domain and IP warming activities, Klaviyo or
  • similar.
  • Use of project management platforms like Jira or Asana.
  • UX experience such as wireframing and customer experience.
  • Experience with inspector tools required; HTML and CSS experience.
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Excel and/or Open Office including formulas and more complex
  • worksheets.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Knowledge of the music production industry is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of eCommerce platforms, connectors associated with those platforms, host controls and the extensions required to add feature functionality. Previous experience with Magento Enterprise preferred.
  • Ability to own the entirety of a technical project employing Agile methodologies including risk mitigation, testing and project management documentation.
  • Expertise in current digital strategies aligned with exceptional SEO with an ever evolving understanding of Google’s advancement of tools and techniques required. Past projects demonstrating a successful zero-click strategy required. Experience with GA-4 preferred.
  • Collaborate with the Webmaster and website development agency resources to ensure the company’s website is performing optimally, generating demand and converting eCommerce revenue. Previous experience with and examples of conversion optimization required.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of tools that monitor website performance such as waterfall analysis, analytics, customer behavior, host activities and API connections. Examples of these tools would include LogRocket, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Webscale Control Panel, Magento, Celigo, FarApp and New Relic. Experience with DevOps or SystemOps preferred.
  • Use tools to pull metrics and data to derive insights around identified challenges and opportunities. Form these insights into consistent update briefs that include recommendations for actions forward.
  • Capable of leading a first-party data initiative required. Examples that demonstrate digital campaigns, first-party data collection, search improvement and online destinations managed by the candidate required.
  • Channel Partner Program and Marketing Activity Management
  • Successfully manage the company’s channel partner and co-op marketing program which includes meeting with brands, documenting budget and spend, as well as maintaining contracts and communicating metrics to each partner.
  • Coordinate team members within the department to finalize campaigns on time and budget.
  • Work in collaboration with the Senior Content Manager and brands to track upcoming product
  • launches and promotional activities which require campaign creation and channel coverage.
  • Strategize with the Marketing content team to populate the master projects and content
  • calendar to ensure all activities are planned far in advance.
  • Create campaign briefs and set up review sessions to gain final approval on projects.
  • Track activities and campaign progress in Jira, the company’s project management tool.
  • Digital Assets and Channels
  • Further establish and define the customer journey, map touchpoints and identify improvements associated with Marketing channels.
  • Extensive experience in optimizing customer persona mapping.
  • Develop and drive customer acquisition efforts with high impact use of the company’s digital channels including the off-site advertising, website merchandising, email marketing and social media advertising activities.
  • Own the strategy behind promotional email activities to include automation flows, segmentation
  • campaigns and eblast mail-outs.
  • Understand best practices in email marketing and adheres to industry standards.
  • Work with our Klaviyo account representative to coordinate strategic improvements to our email campaigns.
  • Team and Resource Management
  • Expertise in managing departmental team members within Marketing and eCommerce roles as well as third party agencies.
  • Has a strengths-based leadership style that inspires good work produced on time and adhering to budget.
  • Excellent communicator and organized Agile project manager that uses Jira, Asana or similar to keep epics, stories and tasks in line.
  • Significant career growth with a strong focus in Digital Marketing or a variation of such is aligned with this role to manage and model best practices department-wide.
