Seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter (Part-Time) to provide full-cycle recruitment of contracts in the United States and international locations.
This key role requires a self-directed and highly motivated professional who has the unique ability to operate strategically as well as tactically in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
The selected candidate will not only demonstrate his/her ability to manage every phase of the talent acquisition process but will also be able to prioritize fluctuating workloads as the company expands and grows.
All employees must either be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or if unvaccinated be required to produce a negative test weekly and wear a mask while in the workplace.
This position may be converted to a full-time position in the future. A minimum of 20-30 hours per week commitment is preferred.
Overall Responsibility:
The Technical Recruiter (Part-Time) will be supporting the recruiting needs for proposals, funded programs, and corporate offices. The Recruiter must be experienced in full-cycle recruitment and possess proven ability in sourcing for candidates with security clearances up to TS/SCI and Full Scope Poly to meet our recruiting needs. The role dictates tact and diplomacy when interacting with candidates and a high level of professionalism when interfacing with all levels of managers. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations compliance for government contracting work is preferred. In addition, the recruiter must be able to prioritize fluctuating workloads in accordance with program and proposal deadlines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment of cleared and non-cleared positions for US and international assignments. In consultation with the hiring managers, develop recruiting strategies to fill the positions.
- Partner with managers to review business needs to develop a pipeline of eligible candidates for current and future open positions.
- Actively source for candidates using creative recruiting techniques including job boards, social media, cold calling, job fairs, networking, and engaged outreach to community organizations to connect with potential candidates.
- Screen and evaluate applicants’ work history, education, training, skills, and compensation needs to ensure the best candidates meet the requirements for the positions.
- Conduct a professional and responsive approach to customer relationships when interfacing with candidates and hiring managers. Establish and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, human resource partners, and the business development team to strategize the hiring of key personnel positions and transition of the incumbent and new employees for newly awarded projects.
- Ensure a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting life-cycle by remaining responsive and by providing excellent customer service.
- Serve as the contact person for questions from candidates.
- Schedule interviews, extend offers of employment, and manage pre-employment processes.
- Possess tact and diplomacy in closing offers.
- Review and ensure that job postings are published in a professional representation.
- May travel for site visits, career fairs, or contract transitions (travel percentage is 5% - 10%)
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and a minimum of three years of related experience in full-cycle recruitment. Additional years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated ability to source candidates who possess security clearances (TS, TS/SCI, Full Scope Poly) for technical positions.
- Experience recruiting for Intelligence Community is preferred.
- Knowledgeable and skillful in social media sourcing, networking, and virtual recruiting. Familiar with sourcing candidates from Google, LinkedIn, and other resume databases.
- Knowledgeable in ensuring compliance with all government contracting regulations, especially OFCCP and local employment regulations for all aspects of recruitment.
- Ability to research and define sourcing strategies for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Knowledge of FAR and recruiting for federally funded contracts.
- Experience in recruiting for positions requiring security clearances.
- Experience in staffing for pre-award contracts.
- Experience in recruiting for proposals.
- Excellent sales skills, persuasive, and charismatic.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload volume.
- Proficient with Microsoft office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Legally Authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.
