What You’ll Do:
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the go-to contact for customers and vendors, ensuring every order and inquiry is handled with accuracy and care. You won’t just answer calls—you’ll play a key role in making sure our clients get the products they need, when they need them.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Customer Communication: Manage inbound calls and emails. Provide clear, friendly assistance while resolving inquiries and following up on quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders.
Order & Account Management: Accurately process customer orders, manage shipping and logistics, and proactively address any potential delays.
Product & Vendor Knowledge: Leverage vendor portals (including Parker Hannifin, TrulinX, PhConnect, Distranet, TOPZ) for order entry and updates. Stay curious and seek to understand the products and industry beyond basic data entry.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, sales, accounting, other CSRs, and vendors to ensure seamless order processing and quick issue resolution.
Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training on products, pricing strategies (SPAs, price multipliers), and company offerings to keep your knowledge sharp and accurate.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in customer service, ideally supporting an independent sales force
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is a big plus
Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
A proactive attitude and a commitment to learning and growth
