Responsibilities:

• Review Run Sheet for accuracy.
• Record temperatures, weights, etc. on the run sheet
• Clean, set up and run concentrate is an efficient and quality manner
• Label packaging for shipping
• Keep work area clean

Authorities:

• Adjust temperatures as needed
• Stop the machine and contact the supervisor of any problems.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 55-pound bags
• Ability to lean forward to clean equipment
• Ability to stand for hours at a time
• Good math and reading skills
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to work in harsh conditions (I.E. hot and cold climates)
• Ability to work with others
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• High school education, GED, and/or equivalent
• No related experience required.

Performance Evaluation Metrics:

• Extruder is cleaned and purged between each order
• Production run sheet instructions are followed
• Production orders are extruded without contamination, longs, etc.
• Paperwork is always completed properly
• Knows the equipment and how to make adjustments to produce superior product
• Work area is kept clean and free of debris
