What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor the engineering, quality, and tooling teams to ensure smooth execution of processes and achieve performance goals.
Develop, optimize, and standardize production processes—focusing on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Oversee and maintain critical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM), work instructions, and operational procedures in the ERP system.
Collaborate closely with product development, design, and scheduling teams to integrate process improvements into product designs and coordinate pattern changeovers.
Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), First Article Testing (F.A.T.), and the launch of new products.
Troubleshoot production challenges, lead root cause analyses, and implement effective solutions.
Drive quality improvement initiatives, including scrap reduction and calibration of control equipment, while promoting 6S and ISO standards.
Oversee tooling and pattern shop operations, balancing maintenance priorities and supporting new product initiatives.
Lead safety reviews and support risk mitigation strategies.
Provide daily updates on engineering and quality metrics, lead special projects, and contribute to critical quality variable control and equipment optimization.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Manufacturing Engineering (required).
5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably with a strong background in process engineering.
1–3 years of experience leading engineering teams or supervising technical staff.
Prior experience in sand casting foundries is preferred. (Experience with blow molding, extrusion, or injection molding is a plus!)
Solid experience working with ERP systems (IQMS preferred) and managing BOMs.
A strong track record of driving process improvements and solving complex production challenges.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
