Tank Installers.
You will be responsible for installing and repairing tanks and piping at various customer locations according to the company standard operating procedure.
Stack concrete blocks inside poly containment and position tanks onto these concrete blocks. The tanks range from 500 – 2000 gallons and are positioned with the assistance of a crane and/or second person.
Responsible for repairing various leaks in piping, valves, containments, etc.
Ensure tanks and containments are installed according to code and labeled appropriately.
Responsible for accurately filling out install paperwork and turning it in at the end of each installation day.
Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the install truck, crane/parts storage area, including picking up debris, and organizing parts, pipe, and supplies.
Responsible for the proper and safe operation of the install truck and crane.
Qualifications:
Specific qualifications for the Tank Installer position include:
Class A or B CDL license (if it is not present at the time of hire, then needs to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL license and Hazmat endorsement within 6 months of employment).
Hazmat endorsement
Minimum 1-year of commercial driving experience, plus pipefitting experience
Thorough familiarity with DOT and state regulations
Pipefitting and/or plumbing experience is a plus.
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong work ethic
Physical Demands
Standing for hours; bending and twisting from the waist approx. 90 degrees, lifting up-to 50 lbs.; climbing ladders; work in varying weather conditions; exposed to temperature.
