Software Developer
The Company is one of the largest multi-family construction suppliers in the U.S. with over $450 million in sales annually. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated Software Developer to join our Information Technology team in our Milwaukie, Oregon office.
The Developer will design, code, and support a wide variety of custom business applications built using Microsoft VB.NET and SQL Server technologies. They will contribute to the technical direction for future applications and system standards. This position will work highly autonomously by working against project goals and targets rather than day-by-day management.
Required Experience:
• Development experience with Microsoft VB.NET
• Strong database experience required (Microsoft SQL Server)
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or similar relevant degree or equivalent education and experience
• At least two years of working experience as a software developer
• Proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a development team
• Proven ability to design intuitive user interfaces that minimize user training Preferred Experience:
• Experience designing and developing Rest API web services
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform, including Azure SQL DB
