Job Title: Planning and Scheduling Assistant Department: Production Reports To: Production Planner Summary: The Planning and Scheduling Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Production Planner. This includes preparing and maintaining production schedules, tracking inventory levels, and resolving production issues. The Planning and Scheduling Assistant also plays a key role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain production schedules, including materials requirements, labor requirements, and delivery dates. Track inventory levels and identify potential shortages. Resolve production issues, such as delays, quality problems, and equipment breakdowns. Communicate with production, engineering, and purchasing departments to ensure smooth production flow. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Associate degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
