Position Overview:

Our client seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale multifamily construction and renovation projects within the Tri-County area. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of managing complex projects from pre-construction to completion. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in wood-framed multifamily construction and exhibit profound expertise in project execution and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for multiple mid to large multifamily projects, ensuring all aspects meet or exceed expectations.
  • Manage project lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Lead Construction's site supervision and project engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and adherence to project specifications.
  • Oversee compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and permit acquisition processes.
  • Engage in rigorous quality control measures in collaboration with field staff to ensure all construction meets the highest standards.
  • Lead the negotiation and administration of change orders and contracts.
  • Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, and construction scheduling to maintain progress and address potential delays immediately.
  • Ensure strict enforcement of safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in project management within wood-framed multifamily construction, including garden-style and mid-rise projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, particularly Procore.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification, or ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits and project supervision.
