Full-time, Direct, Permanent position

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Your job will be to make sure liability disputes are either resolved or escalated, but most importantly, that our client’s vehicle is timely repaired or replaced.
  • Your job is to make sure to facilitate the client’s medical treatment. Facilitating means making sure they understand what their doctors are telling them and making it easier for our clients to go to their medical care providers by helping them arrange appointments and transportation as necessary.
  • We believe in regular communication with all of our clients. The communication has to be over the phone and substantive. Whether that means explaining what their doctors are telling them or taking the time to really listen to our client’s questions, comments, or concerns.
  • Concurrently with getting a new case, someone will have already completed a thorough intake for you, opened 1P/3P claims, SR1/19, requested the TCR/initial medical records, and sent out letters of representation, preservation of evidence letters, and opened relevant claims. They will also help with collecting medical records as the cases advance.
  • You will also have an attorney directly overseeing the work that you do as far as helping with resolving liability issues and giving you a general strategy that must be followed.
  • Once directed to do so by the attorney, you or your assistant will create a demand package which means your case will be sent to a demand writer to draft and send a demand. The demand is then reviewed by an attorney and negotiated by our settlement team which has an attorney overseeing it as well.
  • The case management software we use is Casepeer. Almost everything we do is paperless, so you will need to be comfortable in that environment.

  • Legal case management: 4 years (Required)
  • Personal injury law: 4 years (Required)
